Welcome To The STRIPA TACKLE Website

For the past ten years or so, we have done custom work on a limited basis while we refined our ideas and procedures. We have decided that we now have the ability and time to expand the business and provide the highest quality products. All of our products are hand made from the finest materials available. We also use American-made materials whenever possible. No product leaves our hands until it has been thoroughly inspected. Our product line includes:

We also offer expert rod and reel repairs. We have been repairing reels since 1985, and service all major brands (see our .Services. page for more info). Our extensive mechanical knowledge allows us to diagnose and repair virtually any problem quickly and correctly.

In addition to our manufactured products, we can also assemble/install aftermarket rigging for trucks or boats. Check out our 'Services' page for examples of some of the work we've done. We can also custom fabricate your idea upon request. Again, all of our work is done to exacting standards of quality.

In the near future, we will be expanding our product lineup. We will be carrying high quality products from select area craftsmen. We will also be selling national brand products. If you would like to see an item, let us know what it is and why you like it. We will constantly be looking for quality products to add to our site.

We have a commitment to quality and will not sell a product that we have not tested. Because we don't always have time to try everything, we rely on a very few close friends to give their input on new products also.

There are many products available at lower prices that are very high quality. These items are good choices for the experienced fisher who needs tackle for infrequent uses. Such uses could include a yearly trip with different tackle needs, such as a multi-piece packable rod, or a yearly bottom fishing trip to load the freezer. Quality tackle is still desired but it will not be used as frequently or heavily. Another example is raising children who fish. As they grow, their tackle needs grow, but outfitting one or more kids can be cost prohibitive.
